Substance abuse is often a factor in families where the children are chronically neglected. That's why you might want to take part in webinar-plus-online-forum being put on by the American Humane Association, the National Association of Public Child Welfare Administrators, and the National Center on Substance Abuse and Child Welfare. Event Details
The event, which is called, Chronic Neglect—Substance Abuse Connections, is made made up of a two-hour webinar and an online forum you can participate in at any time during the period of a month. There will be two different sessions -- you only need to register for one.
• SESSION 1: Virtual community center is open Aug. 28 through Sept. 26, 2010; web conference is Sept. 16, 2010

• SESSION 2: Virtual community center is open Nov. 20 through Dec. 19, 2010; web conference is Dec. 8, 2010.
