Nationally renowned photographer Susie Fitzhugh visited three Reclaiming Futures sites in 2004 to capture photographs of how the program is changing lives in the communities of King County, Seattle; Santa Cruz, California; and the Southeastern Mountains of Kentucky. Susie Fitzhugh has been photographing social, educational and health issues for over 30 years. Her work has appeared in publications for the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Harborview (Seattle) Medical Center, Harvard Graduate School of Education, as well as in LIFE, People and Digital Journalist. Her works are included in several books including "The Family of Children" and Time-Life Books' "Photographing Children."
