McGuire Charlotte McGuire, project director
Charlotte McGuire's 32-year career includes 12 years as the director of Project Impact-Dayton, Inc., a community-based nonprofit corporation serving high-risk youth and their families. She has provided leadership for various city and county organizations that benefit welfare recipients, seniors, youth, the homeless and the hungry. She serves on the On Eagle's Wings House of Hope board, and the Montgomery County Juvenile Court Intervention Center advisory board. An ordained minister, Charlotte is the First Lady and chief administrative officer of Joshua Christian Ministries.

Kuntz Hon. Nick Kuntz, judicial fellow
Judge Nick Kuntz began his career 30 years ago in the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office. That led him to the Juvenile Court where he held the positions of referee, legal director and court administrator prior to being elected to the bench in 1995. Judge Kuntz has served on numerous committees, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters, CASA, Family and Children First Council, and the Criminal Justice Council. He implemented the Juvenile Court Start Right program, which holds parents accountable for getting their children to school.

Capizzi Hon. Anthony (Tony) Capizzi, judicial fellow
Anthony Capizzi is a Montgomery County Juvenile Court judge. Prior, he was acting judge for Dayton Municipal Court, and an attorney for more than 25 years specializing in juvenile, family law and litigation. Judge Capizzi has served as a City of Dayton Commissioner, teacher for the Ohio Judicial College and lecturer for state and national conferences focusing on juvenile substance abuse, custody, truancy, mental health issues and well as specialized Drug Court operations. He has served on numerous local boards, as well as president of Neighborhoods, USA, and as chairman of the Finance and Intergovernmental Affairs Committee of the National League of Cities. Judge Capizzi received his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law.

Shafer Eric J. Shafer, justice fellow
Eric Shafer is director of probation services for Montgomery County Juvenile Court. In addition to being a probation officer, he is a substance abuse counselor. Eric graduated from Wright State University in 1994 with a bachelor's in rehabilitation and received his master's in social agency counseling from the University of Dayton.

Jones Beverly Jones-Arthur, treatment fellow
Beverly Jones-Arthur is director of behavioral health operations at the Montgomery County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board. She previously managed alcohol and drug addiction services for the same organization. She has more than 25 years in behavioral health services. Beverly has served as a trustee for the Wright Memorial Library Board and as board secretary.

Sherrer Yvonne Sherrer, community fellow
Yvonne Sherrer is the Natural Helper coordinator for Reclaiming Futures Montgomery County. She was one of the graduates of the Natural Helper program's charter class in 2003. Yvonne is retired from the City of Dayton where she was a management analyst. She has worked for more than 25 years with youth and families in church and community-based programs.

Stephens Roma Stephens, community fellow
Roma Stephens is a Program Supervisor for the City of Dayton Department of Recreation and Youth Services. She has been a volunteer and activist on many youth committees in Dayton since 1982. She is a member of the ministry team at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, the initial church partner to Reclaiming Futures in the Dayton area. Roma believes that one of her charges in life is to champion causes for youth and be a strong voice for them.
